1. I was (working) in Kuching from 16 Dec to 19 Dec. My family tagged along for their holiday.
2. Met Hj Razak Marzuki over dinner di Baba something that night. It was raining that night so Razak suggested we go to Baba instead the TopSpot. It was a fun night.
3. Before that dinner, we had a quick snack at the Executive Lounge. Overheard two 50 something men (A Chinese and an Indian) talking loudly.
Chinese man: So you don't take wine anymore!
Indian man: Yeah. I converted to Islam 4 years ago. I married a Melanau dan have 2 kids. When I was newly married, a lot of my friends questioned me whether I can still do it and having kids. The two kids are the evidence.
Chinese man: So you had a potong? (Anih terdengar soalan sebegini di zaman ini).
Indian man: I had a potong a long long time before that. For hygenic purposes.
Chinese man: Oh..... it is hygenic to potong!"
Indian man: Yes..
Bangga saya saya terdengar perbualan tersebut. Satu the doctor (rupanya) masuk Islam dan menyatakan kebaikan berkhatan.
