1. Pak Usu anak-anak saya ini masih bujang. Dah puas saya dan Kak Long memujuk agar dia segera bernikah. Beberapa tahun yang lepas, sudah hampir menikah. Tetapi Allah ambil tunangnya beberapa minggu selepas Allah ambil emak kami.
Sempat pasang shower lagi. Seronoklah anak-anak buat tak perlu menadah air dan mandi pakai gayung. Kira sibuklah saya sepanjang hari.
4. Tahun ini (pagi raya) zaujah berani modified resipi menu-menu wajib keluarga Al Jabri ini. Rempah beriyani dikurangkan supaya jadi mild, beras ditumis dulu..... Nasib baik uminya tak mengamuk! Biasanya dia tak suka resipinya diubah. Alhamdullillah OK semuanya. Taklah panas perut saya bila kena beryani mertua!
5. Kami tiba di rumah Pak Usu hampir magrib raya pertama. Adalah dibawa bontrot Al Jabri. Dan rupanya Pak Usu tak masak apa-apa. Katanya dapat bekalan dari Kak Long dan ngonjongan jiran-jiran dan this one lady dari Pt Yusof.
Parit keliling rumah dijetnya. Rumput-rumput diracun. Rumah surprising bersih! Malah Pak Usu beli daging kambing. Malangnya dia tak beritahu awal. Kalau tidak pasti saya dah minta zaujah tolong masakkan Irish Stew kegemaran kami sekeluarga. Paling idak zaujah boleh masakkan beriyani kambing!
Malam kedua, Pak Usu dah tidur sewaktu kami pulang beraya di rumah Kak Long.
8. Kami doakan Pak Usu akan segera mendapat jodohnya. Kebetulan raya ketiga, harijadi Pak Usu. Di fridge, ada dua kotak kek. Khabarnya hadiah dari this mystery lady.

2. So raya aidilfitri ni, saya berhasrat menziarahinya. Chiro pi PD pula. Then ke rumah Mak Pon di Jalan Khatib. Tiada orang.
4. Berpatahlah balik ke Jalan Abdul Rahman ke rumah Pak Unggal. Seperti biasa Pak Unggal buat open house di raya kedua. Mak datuk, kali ini ramai pula kenalan Cina Pak Unggal. Open house kali ini agak lain. 1. Makanan lambat keluar ~ 1.30pm. 2. Cuma jumpa 2 sepupu (Azad dan Nor) selain anak Pak Unggal. 3. Pak Unggal pelawa join "syarikat"nya.
3. Di situ jumpa Azad anak Pak Utih. Saya kata saya ke rumahnya tapi tiada orang. Dia kata Pak Utih ada. Tapi bila dia sebut no rumah Pak Utih, ternyata saya sudah salah rumah pagi tadi.
4. Selepas menjamah nasi tomato dan mee kari, kami berusaha lagi ke rumah Pak Utih. Jumpa rumah yang betul. Malangnya Pak Utih dah keluar beraya.
5. Semoga Allah panjangkan umur kami supaya dapat bertemu lagi.

The Lonely Kopitiam Table

Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri:
While we were with Allah's Apostle who was distributing (i.e. some property), there came Dhu-l-Khuwaisira, a man from the tribe of Bani Tamim and said, "O Allah's Apostle! Do Justice." The Prophet said, "Woe to you! Who could do justice if I did not? I would be a desperate loser if I did not do justice." 'Umar said, "O Allah's Apostle! Allow me to chop his head off." The Prophet said, "Leave him, for he has companions who pray and fast in such a way that you will consider your fasting negligible in comparison to theirs. They recite Qur'an but it does not go beyond their throats (i.e. they do not act on it) and they will desert Islam as an arrow goes through a victim's body, so that the hunter, on looking at the arrow's blade, would see nothing on it; he would look at its Risaf and see nothing: he would look at its Na,di and see nothing, and he would look at its Qudhadh ( 1 ) and see nothing (neither meat nor blood), for the arrow has been too fast even for the blood and excretions to smear. The sign by which they will be recognized is that among them there will be a black man, one of whose arms will resemble a woman's breast or a lump of meat moving loosely. Those people will appear when there will be differences amongst the people." I testify that I heard this narration from Allah's Apostle and I testify that 'Ali bin Abi Talib fought with such people, and I was in his company. He ordered that the man (described by the Prophet ) should be looked for. The man was brought and I looked at him and noticed that he looked exactly as the Prophet had described him. Jom Puasa
1. Berita di bawah menarik perhatian saya.
*Dalil puasa tiga hari kerana mungkir sumpah
Allah will not take you to task for that which is unintentional in your oaths, but He will take you to task for the oaths which ye swear in earnest. The expiation thereof is the feeding of ten of the needy with the average of that wherewith ye feed your own folk, or the clothing of them, or the liberation of a slave, and for him who findeth not (the wherewithal to do so) then a three days' fast. This is the expiation of your oaths when ye have sworn; and keep your oaths. Thus Allah expoundeth unto you His revelations in order that ye may give thanks. Al-Maidah:89

Nizar, Sivakumar to go on 3-day hunger strike (Update)
IPOH: Former Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin and Tronoh assemblyman V. Sivakumar will lead a hunger strike calling for the dissolution of the state assembly.
Revealing this, Perak DAP secretary Nga Kor Ming said the two men would join Pakatan Rakyat supporters in the hunger strike to be launched on Tuesday at Wisma DAP here.
The strike was meant to last at least three days, but those who were willing to continue could do so, said Nga.
The peaceful campaign, he said, was meant to send a serious message asking that the people be given the right to choose their leaders.
"A democratic government must receive the mandate from the rakyat. The people do not want a government to be dictated by a judge only," he told a press conference at Wisma DAP Saturday.
Nga argued that the state Barisan Nasional government had no moral basis to administer the state as it was relying on three state assemblymen who had supposedly "betrayed" the will of the people.
He invited the public to turn up for the three-day event, even for those not fasting, as it would include talks and a signature campaign.
Nga said among the DAP, PAS and PKR leaders joining in the hunger strike were himself, Pasir Pinji assemblyman Thomas Su, Titi Serong assemblyman Dr Khalil Idham Lim Abdullah and Simpang Pulai assemblyman Chan Ming Kai.
"The public is urged to wear black as a sign of protest against the undemocratic power grab by Barisan," he said.
Participants must first sign a pledge with guidelines stating that one could take part after checking with one's doctor, with a liquid break to be taken every six hours.
The guidelines added that one could fast according to their faith, such as Muslims could fast from sunrise to sunset.
Ipoh Barat MP M. Kulasegaran called for the setting up of a constitutional court to specifically deal with constitutional and political crisis, such as in India and Thailand.
