Anak Saudara

1. Baru-baru ini saya bertemu dengan anak saudara di majlis perkahwinan adik saya. Semasa bertanya khabar, beliau berkata "Dah lama Pak Ngah tak menulis di blog?"

2. Saya terkejut kerana tidak pernah menjangka ada anak saudara generasi muda membaca tulisan saya. Malah saya tidak menjangka ada orang yang membaca tulisan saya. Saya sekadar menjawab "Sibuk sikit. Setakat menulis di FB aje."

3. Anak saudara ini, Amy merupakan anak sulung sepupu saya. Merupakan graduan UiTM. Baru berkahwin.

4. Ibubapanya, Abang Ya dan Kak Nik, tidak berpeluang memasuki universiti (seperti ibubapa saya). Kejayaannya belajar di universiti telah menjadi contoh kepada adik-adiknya. Adiknya yang kedua sedang mengikut program PhD di UiTM juga. Abang Ya memberitahu beliau bercita-cita untuk menjadi seorang profesor. Kejayaan anak-anak di bidang akademik dan kerjaya tentu membanggakan Abang Ya sekeluarga dan kami. Sebaik-baik peninggalan ibubapa ialah memberikan pelajaran yang terbaik kepada anak-anak. Sebaik-baik anak ialah yang mengambil peluang belajar betul-betul. Alhamdullillah anak-anak ini tahu untuk tidak mensia-siakan peluang yang ada. Abang Ya beruntung mendapat anak-anak yang baik.

Islam Demo kerat 6

Saya semakin merasa pelik dengan tindak tanduk puak Islam demo kerat ini kebelakangan ini termasuk dalam isu kalimah Allah. Siapakah yang bercakap benar? TGHA atau Karpal? Apakah sudah ada jual beli dengan dua keping kek harijadi seperti mana urusniaga 4000 ha balak dengan 4 biji limau tambun? Apa respond Majlis Syura kali ini?

Karpal: Wrong for Hadi to say DAP leadership accepts Syura Council's decision on Allah issue

GEORGE TOWN: It is wrong to say the PAS' Syura Council's decision regarding the Allah issue is well received by non-Muslims, including DAP's leadership, said DAP national chairman Karpal Singh.

Karpal told a press conference here that he was disappointed with PASpresident Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang's statement to this effect.

He was commenting on a news report quoting Hadi as saying the prohibition on non-Muslims from using the "Allah" word in their holy books was settled and that the DAP's top leadership had also accepted the explanation on the matter given by PAS spiritual leader Datuk Nik Aziz Nik Mat during a brief meeting with him (Karpal Singh) in Penang last Monday.

Karpal stressed that nothing was discussed regarding the Allah issue when he met with Nik Aziz at the informal meeting.

He said the Syura Council should not stick firmly to its stand as it conflicted with the stand taken by Pakatan Rakyat which is made up of the DAP, PAS and PKR.

Karpal added that the DAP was not meddling in the internal affairs of PAS but instead was upholding a stand which had already been taken by PR.

Seminggu dua dulu, kita berpakat bersetuju berkongsi .... Lupa surah al Iklhas. Bersorak para demo kerat. Last weekend alhamdulillah bertambah fans kita. Dan kita melupakan sebentar tentang campuran mahram dan keterbukaan aurah. Yalah masa tawaf, saie dan melontar pun bercampur akhi dan ufti. Inikan pula dalam muktamar berpakat. Alhamdullillah kita dapat fans baru dari kalangan kegemaran Pak Syeikh. Hebat-hebat sepakat kita.

Semalam kita buat korner baring 180 darjah guna majlis syura. Ingat balik surah al Ikhlas. Hebat super flips kita! Aisaymen ni nak potong berapa kerat? Senyap pula demo kerat?

Tahlil anak-anak yang terkorban di Newton, USA.

Tragedi di Newton adalah sangat trajis. Tetapi tidak setrajis pembunuhan kanak-kanak di Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine, Pakistan dan lain-lain yang melibat tentera Amerika dan sekutunya. Beratus ribu anak-anak Iraq dibunuh Amerika berbanding 26 yang terbunuh di Newton.

Anihnya cara tahlil mereka seolah-olah meniru style kita? Atau kita yang sebenarnya meniru mereka?

Limau Tambun

4 butir limau tambun, 4,000 ha terhimpun?

Beberapa bulan dahulu, dua pemimpin sepupu telah menziarahi seorang pemimpin Islam di Serambi Mekah. Depa serah beberapa limau tambun (dan sekotak bird nest) kepada pemimpin ini. Mereka kemudiannya turut duduk bersila mendengar ceramah ugama pemimpin itu dalam Masjid Pulau Melaka. Gumbiralah sesuatu puak mewar-warkan dua sepupu sudah dekat kepada Islam. Saya pun ingatkan benarlah penganut nasara itu sudah mendapat hidayah.

Beberapa hari ini hebuh di akhbar-akhbar on-line alternatif, rupanya mereka ke Serambi Mekah bukannya untuk mendapatkan hidayah (هداية) tetapi untuk mendapatkan masyjarah (مَشْجرة) lebih 4,000 hektar. Terserlahlah sekarang rahsia hadiah limau tambun dan dengar ceramah. MasyaAllah hebatnya limau tambun. Bukan simbol hidayah tetapi masyjarah (timberland).

DAP leader refutes Kelantan land-for-Perak MB deal

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 22 — Perak DAP chairman Datuk Ngeh Koo Ham has admitted to being a director in a logging firm awarded land in PAS-led Kelantan but refuted that the project was in exchange for letting the Islamist party take the silver state’s mentri besar post, the New Straits Times (NST) reported today.

Ngeh told the English-language daily that he and another Perak DAP lawmaker, Nga Kor Ming, had invested in the project but stressed that the deal was above board.

“The Inland Revenue Board is aware of this transaction. So is the federal government.

“The federal government even gave out a loan as the project is for the good of the country,” the Beruas MP was quoted as saying by the NST.

Last Thursday, Barisan Nasional (BN) assemblymen alleged in the state assembly that both Ngeh (picture) and Nga had been awarded a piece of land, said to be worth RM30 million, and linked it to the appointment of PAS’s Datuk Seri Nizar Jamaluddin as Perak mentri besar after the 2008 general election.

Datuk Mohd Khusairi Abdul Talib was reported as saying that Ngeh and Syarikat Efektif Kirana Sdn Bhd had bought 4,000 hectares in Gua Musang, Kelantan for a logging project. The BN assemblyman for Slim claimed that Nga, the Perak DAP secretary, was also involved.

At a press conference yesterday, Ngeh, who is also a lawyer, had explained that the Perak duo had invested in the project upon invitation by their client Upaya Padu Plantations Sdn Bhd.

Yesterday, The Star Online reported Ngeh as saying the original sales and purchase agreement of the land was signed in May 3, 2006, which he said showed that the claims against him and Nga amounted to slander.

Khusyuk ke masyuk?

“This shows that the transaction between Yayasan Islam Kelantan and Upaya Padu Plantations Sdn Bhd was conducted even before Pakatan Rakyat was in power in 2008.

“Therefore claims that the land was given to us by PAS in exchange for a mentri besar position are slander.

“As a lawyer maintaining my professional ethics, I could only reveal that the group of investors, who were also my clients, only purchased the company this year.

“It is only a personal transaction and a private sector investment into the state,” he was quoted as saying by The Star Online.

Both Ngeh and Nga, who are cousins, are also lawmakers for the Sitiawan and Pantai Remis state seats.

Ngeh was reported as saying he will sue those who have defamed them over this matter.
